ORAP’s mission is to help faculty create successful grant applications and research programs. The following opportunities take place every year, and give faculty the resources needed to excel in their field of research.

 

Information Sessions

These weekly, hour-long classes are designed to assist you with all areas of research development. Topics include budget planning, broader impact opportunities, supplementary documents, research compliance, and more.

Proposal Writing Workshops

Join ORAP proposal consultants Dr. Robert Finney, Dr. Becky James, and Maureen Bonnefin, CRA for a full day grant writing workshop in April in Vancouver. Learn how to become a more effective grant proposal writer through hands-on, interactive activities designed to create desire for your project. Preliminary data shows that attending ORAP’s grant writing courses significantly increases your award success rate.

 

Faculty interested in NSF CAREER proposals are highly encouraged to attend.

 

Faculty are given priority for these workshops, post docs are admitted as space permits. Unfortunately Skype and AMS are not available.
