Engaging in Interdisciplinary Environmental Research
September 18 @ 12:30 pm - 1:30 pm PDT
Join the Center for Environmental Research, Education, and Outreach (CEREO) to learn about how to engage in interdisciplinary, environmental research at WSU. CEREO has been supporting faculty system-wide to advance their research that spans across disciplines and to address complex environmental issues. Attendees will learn more about what CEREO is and how faculty can leverage CEREO support in grant development and management, and will hear from faculty who have utilized this support:
The panel will cover the following projects:
- Rivers, Watersheds and Communities (RWC) Graduate Training Program
- Understanding the Use of Discretion and its Socio-Environmental Consequences for Reservoir Systems
- Understanding the Impacts of Wildfire on Drinking Water Security in the Pacific Northwest
Each panelist will present an overview of their project and share insights on interdisciplinary collaboration and the role of CEREO in supporting their project. We will end the panel discussion with Q&A from the audience.
Join us via Zoom on September 18th from 12:30 pm – 1:30 pm. RSVP on-line to attend.
