The Office of Research hosts workshops related to research development and grant seeking. Programming varies from year to year, but usually at least one workshop will be held each semester.
Fall 2025
Pathway to CAREER: From Vision to Submission
This multi-session training program will prepare faculty to submit an NSF CAREER proposal, from project development, to proposal preparation, to submission.
This workshop series will take place October 1 – 29, 2025. Interested Faculty members can apply online.
Spring 2026
Fundamentals of Grant Writing Across Disciplines
The Fundamentals of Grant Writing Across Disciplines Series consists of five weekly sessions that provide grant-writing tools for faculty in any discipline, plus an as-needed prerequisite session for finding funding. The 1.5-hour sessions include presentations, group discussions, take-home assignments, and peer review/feedback of proposal drafts.
Interested faculty members are invited to submit an online application, including a letter of support from their chair or director, by February 1, 2026.
