The Office of Research works with faculty to support the development of research in areas that will be key to keeping WSU on the cutting edge while always working to enhance the fulfillment of WSU’s land-grant mission. The Office of Research is currently supporting the following Research Initiatives:
- Artificial Intelligence: Coordinating existing expertise and growing new talent to meet the challenges and opportunities of artificial intelligence and machine learning.
- INSPIRE! Community Engaged Research Program: Strengthening support for community engaged research and creative activity across all disciplines to enhance the societal benefits of WSU research in alignment with our Land Grant Mission.
