WSU’s land-grant mission is core to its commitment to principles of practical education for all, scholarly inquiry that benefits society, and the sharing of expertise to positively impact the state and its communities and is a framework within which the broader impacts of research and scholarly activities should be considered. Thus, WSU’s core beliefs of improving the lives of our students, society, and planet and its values of community, wellbeing, integrity, trust, respect and freedom of expression must be reflected in every stage of research and scholarly activity — from planning through dissemination.
