Private foundations support unique research and program needs. The Office of Foundation Relations connects faculty and staff with these funders, offering help with identifying opportunities, making introductions, and developing proposals. Through the WSU Foundation, the Office of Foundation Relations can also provide a means for faculty to apply for funding from organizations that require a 501(c)3 non-profit status.
The Office of Research assists by processing applications and managing certain limited submission grants (see below). For foundations requiring 501(c)(3) status, proposals can be submitted through the WSU Foundation.
