NSF NRT Application

The NSF NRT Application will require the following:

• Project Summary – Provide a one-paragraph summary of your project plan and its significance
• Integration of Research and Education – Describe the training needs this program will provide that are not currently available at WSU. What are the connections between training elements and the interdisciplinary research theme?
• Interdisciplinary – To what degree is the program interdisciplinary and what is the potential for high impact synergies among disciplines?
• Integrating Diversity – Please describe recruiting plan and mentoring activities that will broaden participation of underrepresented minorities in STEM.
• Key Personnel – List the key personnel on this project, their department or non-WSU employer and a short description of their qualifications. What other organizational resources will be used for this project?
• Resubmission Comments – Please include any previous reviewer responses or updates made.
• Estimated Budget – Include any of the following: salaries, wages, fringe benefits, supplies/services, travel, equipment, participant support costs, sub awards, and other direct costs. Please provide justification for each.
