Murdock Partners in Science: Funding for Broader Impact Activities – 4/29
April 29, 2021 @ 11:00 am - 12:00 pm PDT
Program Manager, Kim Newman of the M.J. Murdock Charitable Trust will present information and answer questions about the Trust’s Partners in Science program. The Partners in Science program provides funds to place a high school teacher with a physical science research professor/mentor in an academic lab over the course off two summers. It also provides travel funds to participate in the National Partners in Science conference. The goal is to help teachers bring knowledge from the research lab into the classroom to promote hands-on science education. For faculty, the program provides an extra pair of hand in the lab and an opportunity to build strong outreach relationships with local high schools that will strengthen the broader impacts of your research.
Join us at 11:00am. RSVP below for the Zoom link.
